To take Trymata tests on your computer, you’ll need to download and install the Trymata Recorder desktop application. Choose the version that’s right for your computer below, and then follow the instructions to finish setting it up for your device.Get the Trymata Recorder below
Not sure which file to choose? Click on the Download button to automatically choose the right one for your device:
Some antivirus programs will not recognize the Trymata Recorder software and may block the setup wizard when you attempt to install it. Please choose to override your antivirus if this occurs.
Go to your computer’s System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General. Under “Allow apps downloaded from:” select the second option (“App store and identified developers”). Save this preference.
Open the Trymata Recorder file you just downloaded
When you see the Trymata icon and “TrymataRecorder Installer” label, right-click on it and then choose “Open” from the menu. Do not open it by double-clicking.
You’ll see a popup stating that TrymataRecorder Installer can’t be opened. At the bottom of the popup, click the top button labeled “Open.” This will allow you to continue.
Follow the setup wizard to install Trymata Recorder.
Navigate to downloaded file in a terminal and run this command
$ sudo sh /path/to/directory/TrymataRecorder_unix_1_1_2.sh
$ TrymataRecorder ~/path/to/directory/downloaded_test_file
